andymorley's pomes | THE MOSQUE KITCHEN

I came to eat at the Mosque Kitchen,
For evil or for good.
I came to eat at the Mosque Kitchen,
But all I found was food.

The people at the Mosque Kitchen,
For purchase or for sale,
Demand-side at the Mosque Kitchen,
Was mixed; supply-side - male.

No women at the Mosque Kitchen,
They kept them tucked away,
I asked what had become of them,
They weren't prepared to say.

The curry at the Mosque Kitchen,
Gave no hint or clue,
My mind divined nothing behind
This bland though curried view...

The secret of the Mosque Kitchen -
Cheap food that tastes OK,
What ever else might be there,
Don't see no light of day...
